I will confess to you
It is very difficult to write about gratitude when you are in the throes of deep depression.
It is also all the more reason it is necessary

I think Substack Image Generator is as confused as I am….
Let’s try again

This image is much better. It is hopeful on the horizon.
Taking the time to think of things we are grateful for while still being in darkness can set the hope on the horizon for a better time just around the bend.
I don’t distress for the future, I cannot change my past, there is nothing wrong with my present besides this heavy feeling of overwhelm and misunderstanding. My logical brain says, it will work itself out, and I believe it will. But my body doesn’t believe. My body feels the heavy weight of inundated responsibility. But I’m not going to crack 💔

Maybe I should count more joys.
Interesting find this week
One thing I found of interest is the practice of Kintsugi. I feel like this is how I will view my healing going forward. I can take the empty spots and fill them with precious elements to create a new whole. It’s worth a try.
Gratitude will be my golden lacquer.

For me, these list articles are the best! I love to list out my reasons to be grateful. I need to get back to doing that daily. If it’s simple with no expectations to be grandiose, it can be done quickly. That is what always trips me up… over-complicating it. Simple and straightforward is best.
I’m going to reach out to Yusrin and see if they would like to write for #Grateful4 too!

LaLa 👋
I love your use of gratitude as lacquer for this ancient practice. I definitivamente can see how gratitude impacts my own life. Gracias, LaLa 🌸
Very nice - and light read - light in the way a leaf floating in the wind might be!
Il loved how you have spaced it as well - lots of white space between text.
I am assuming it is intentional - to fit some purpose beyond just spacing?
Does that make for better reading on mobile?
